- Basketball center has been opened in Al-Wagba sport center in 2001.
- Basketball women National team has been formed in Al-Wagba Sport center in 2002.

1- 6th GCC tournament for ladies– Al-Sharja ,UAE 1-7/2/2003 (4th place)
2- 7th GCC tournament for ladies – Al-Sharja ,UAE 10-17/2/2005 (the player Warda Murjan has got the best player trophy and the top scorer )
3- The 4th Islamic competition tournament for ladies, Tehran – Iran 22-28/9/2005 (5th place)
4- 6th Al-Qasam International tournament – Syria 15-20/7/2008 (4th place , the player Warda Murjan has got the top scorer trophy)
5- 1st GCC women sport tournament – Kuwait 5-11/3/2008 (1st place)
